Da Antonio, terzogenito del conte Francesco e della contessa Giulia Calderari, ebbero origine vari rami dei Sormani. Antonio sposò nel 1722 Francesca Bonenzio, figlia del questore Pietro, e ne ebbe, fra gli altri, i figli: Alessandro, Lorenzo e Guseppe. Alessandro, nato a Milano il 16 luglio 1740, fu eletto tra i LX Decurioni nel 1770 e ottenne la nomina a ciambellano di Maria Teresa nel 1771; morì nel 1825. Lorenzo, nato a Milano il 21 settembre 1741, sposò nel 1775 Marianna Crevenna e morì nel 1821. Dalla Crevenna ebbe Giuseppe, nato a Milano il I° maggio 1771. Questo Giuseppe, insieme con lo zio Alessandro, con diploma 5 nov. 1818 di Francesco I d'Austria, ottenne il titolo di conte dell'I.A. trasmissibile a tutti i discendenti maschi e femmine. Lo stemma dei predetti conti don Alessandro e don Giuseppe fu delineato nel Codice Araldico Lombardo per decreto dell'I.R. Commissione Araldica del 9
