Le prime notizie documentate su questo illustre Casato risalgono al secolo XVI. Infatti in due atti notarili del 1561 e 1562 sono nominati Dominus Nicola, Dominus Damiano ed una D.na Margherita di Conflenti. il Padre Fiore ricorda i Vecio che anticamente dominarono in Gaurano di Aprigliano e il Pacichelli nomina i membri di tale famiglia tra le antiche nobili del Contado di Martirano. Giovanni Berardino, Pasquale Antonio e Pasquale ebbero la carica di Giudice Regio nel secolo XVII e XVIII. Carlo e Ferrante furono Erari della Comital Corte del Principe di Castiglione. Ferdinando e Pasquale Sindaci dell'Università di Conflenti Sottani, nel sec. XVIII. Numerosi i religiosi tra cui: Don Giampietro, Vicario Foraneo, Don Giulio e il Clerico Carlo chamato "patrizio" in un atto del 1756. Fra gli altri, nel sec.
