Aus Bergamo stammend, übten sie die Waren aus, nachdem sie Bürger geworden waren. Einer von ihnen wurde Kanzler der Republik, ein weiterer Sekretär des Rates von X, nachdem er sowohl im Kollegium als auch im Senat viel von einem unermüdlichen Eifer bewiesen hatte. Ein Sohn von Agostino, ehemals Kanzler Grande, namens Giacomo, wurde zum Bischof von Famagusta gewählt. Nachdem sie sowohl den besagten Brüdern Giacomo als auch Gio, Ferdinando und Alessandro Maria spontan die üblichen 100.000 Dukaten angeboten hatten, die dem venezianischen Adel zugeschrieben wurden, wurde ihr Plädoyer am 1. Dezember 1658 angenommen, nachdem der Teil am 27. November 1658 im Senat mit abgestimmt worden war 152 dafür, gegen 28, nicht aufrichtig 22, die definitiv im Großen Rat mit 550 dafür angenommen wurden, 212, nicht aufrichtig 45 Stimmen. Heraldische Aktualisierungen dieser Familie haben seit 1707 mit Alessandro Maria nicht mehr stattgefunden.
