Degli antichi feudatari "de Vigono" si hanno notizie sicure del secolo XII. Galvano Fiamma li ricorda tra quei vassalli dei conti di Angera che aiutano Federico Barbarossa per scuotere il giogio angerino. Ma le profonde lacune che si riscontrano nella genealogia di questa famiglia non permettono di affermare che gli attuali membri di essa discendono "ab illis de Vigono", elevati al grado di "capitanei" dall'Enobardo. La genealogia accertata risale, infatti, soltanto fino al sec. XVIII, cioè fino ad un Giuseppe, abbiatico di quel Francesco, noto come stampatore milanese, al quale specialmente si deve la pubblicazione dell'Ateneo dei Letterati Milanesi del Piccinelli fatta nel 1670. Giuseppe diè i natali ad Antonio. Questi insieme con Antonio de Pecis, suo cugino, il I° maggio 1757 fu immesso nel possesso del feudo di Massalengo nel contado di Lodi, con la facoltà di succedere al cugino ed il cugino a lui, coma del diploma 20
