Por escritura fechada el 20 de marzo, Don Alberto Genovese, duque de San Pietro, donó al coronel en el RR. Tropas y Corneta de los Guardaespaldas de SM Cav. Don Stefano Manca di Tiesi, el marquesado de Villahermosa y Santa Croce, en virtud de la facultad de disponer de ellos entre vivos, otorgado al primer adquirente Don Bernardino y al donante mismo de su hijo; y Vittorio Emanuele I, rey de Cerdeña, con un diploma el 19 de junio de 1804, aprobó el mismo acto de transferencia y donación del feudo antes mencionado realizado por el duque de San Pietro en favor de su sobrino Don Stefano Manca di Tiesi.
