Di origine spagnuola, portata in Sicilia da un Antonino Vincenti, il quale vi seguì Federico II in qualità di condottiero di gente d'armi e fu creato nel 1330 capitano di soccorso della Valle di Mazzara e delle milizie di Trapani dove stabilì la sua famiglia. Antonio, barone di Arcodaci, prefetto di Trapani nel 1425; Giovanni segretario di Re Alfonso, poi sotto il Re Giovanni maestro razionale del tribunale del R. Patrimonio nel 1488; altro Antonio consigliere di Re Giovanni nel 1464, poi capitano giustiziere di Trapani nel 1465; Antonio ottavo signore del Celso e Casserino, prefetto in patria nel 1431 e ceppo dei baroni di Casalmagno; altro Giovanni signore di Marama, regio famigliare e consigliere, castellano della Colombara nel 1448, e capitano giustiziere nel 1464.
