Antica famiglia siciliana, detta Vinci o Vincis, la quale godette nobiltà in Trapani ed in Messina, sin dal XV secolo, e che fu insignita del titolo di barone di Moschitta, del quale ultimo investito fu Domenico, nel 1791. La famiglia è iscritta genericamente nell'Elenco Ufficiale Italiano del 1922 col titolo di barone di Moschitta, in persona dei discendenti di Domenico. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia di Fermo, la quale, sin da epoca remotissima, appartenne a quel patriziato, riconoscendo quale suo capostipite un Agostino, vissuto nel sec. XII. Tra i membri che, maggiormente, la illustrarono, ricordiamo: Bongiovanni, di Agostino, illustre giureconsulto; Giovanni, di Domenico, il quale visse e morì a Bologna e che fu uno dei primi seguaci di S.
