Família antiga e nobre da Toscana, de clara e ancestral virtude, que se espalhou, ao longo dos séculos, em diferentes regiões italianas, com principal assentamento na região de Milão, e do mundo. A família teve seu início na cidade de Florença, a cuja cidadania foi admitida no distrito de Santa Maria Novella, "gonfalone Lion bianco" Durante o século XVII uma filial da mesma mudou-se para Fiesole. Ali, com documento datado de 1 de dezembro de 1843, a magistratura cívica de Fiesole propôs a atribuição à classe nobre daquela cidade de Luigi Rinaldo, do prefeito Paolo. Esta proposta foi aceita com um documento grão-ducal de 7 de junho de 1844. A família está, portanto, registrada na Lista Oficial Nobre Italiana com o título de nobres de Fiesole. De acordo com o que foi transmitido, sempre durante o século XVII, outro ramo da família mudou-se para residir na Lombardia e seus membros
