Eine sehr edle Mailänder Familie, deren Gründer ein gewisser Alberto von Bartolomeo (1365-1379) vom Visconti di Massino ist, der in den Abteilungen der feudalen Ahnenachse die Lordschaften von Ornavasso und einen Teil des unteren Invorio mit Paruzzaro und hatte Montregiasco, der 1404 mit Sesto Calende, Lisanza und Angera investiert wurde. Das gleiche hatte in erster Ehe als Ehefrau Giovanna Orsini, Tochter von Francesco I. Duca di Gravina und Margherita della Marra Signora di Canosa. Von Lancelotto, dem Sohn von Alberto, stammten die Grafen von Sesto Calende und die Viscounts von Aragon Marquisen von Invorio ab. Andere Alberto, die 1493 starben, schworen 1470 dem Herzog von Mailand die Treue, wurden 1480 Herzoglicher Rat und führend im Dienst des Königs von Neapel und des Herzogs von Mailand.
