Ancient Milanese patrician family. He obtained the confirmation of the nobility with Sovereign Resolution 21 November 1816 in favor of Luigi, Giuseppe, Felice. The ascertained genealogy has for progenitor Eriprando (dec. 1609), who was the husband of Bianca Brebbia, in memory of which and to distinguish herself from the other V., the family added the surname Brebbia to her own and framed her weapons. From Eriprando was born Cristoforo, living in 1646, who married Ottavia del Maino and had Carlo Francesco. From this and from Emilia Targone, his wife, Antonio, who was Barbara Pallavicino's husband and Felice's father, came to light.
