Ancient and noble Spanish family, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread over the centuries, with a main branch in Italy, flourished around the XVII century. According to what has been handed down, this family is originally from Navarre but its members to prove their nobility address the Royal Chancery of Valladolid, from which they obtained patent of nobility. Skilled knights and fearless explorers, some Visos went to the South of Italy, obtaining from the royal family, to which they were always loyal, numerous fiefdoms as a reward. Many of its members have brought honour to the family name.
