Antigua y noble familia española, de clara y ancestral virtud, que se ha extendido a lo largo de los siglos por todo el mundo, con una rama principal en Italia, floreció hacia el siglo XVII. Según se ha transmitido, esta familia es originaria de Navarra pero sus miembros para acreditar su nobleza se dirigen a la Real Chancillería de Valladolid, de la que obtuvieron patente de nobleza. Hábiles caballeros e intrépidos exploradores, algunos Visos se dirigieron al sur de Italia, obteniendo de la familia real, a la que siempre fueron leales, numerosos feudos como recompensa. Muchos de sus miembros han hecho honor al apellido. De nuestros archivos: Pedro Felipe, caballero, floreció en el siglo XVII; Juan Jiménez, capitán de caballería, floreciente en el siglo XVII; Cristóbal, doctor en ambas leyes, floreciente en Nápoles en 1589; Fernando Vicente, hacendado español, floreciente en 1616; Sebastián, consejero real, floreciente en España en 1678;
