Antica ed illustre famiglia di Ceccano, la cui principale gloria è Pasquale Tommaso, nato il 22 settembre 1787 in Ceccano. Creato nel 1841 da S.S. Gregorio XVI cardinale del titolo di S. Prudenziana; fu segretario di Stato di Pio IX e morì il 3 giugno 1849 in Lenola (Fondi) ove fu sepolto in quella chiesa parrocchiale. Fra i suoi molteplici incarichi, notevoli furono quello di Legato Apostolico a Forlì e arcivescovo di Tebe in patribus. La bibliografia di questa famiglia, inoltre, viene menzionata dal Marchese Vittorio Spreti, nella sua "Enciclopedia Storico-Nobiliare Italiana", stampato in Milano nel 1936. La famiglia, inoltre, sempre riuscì a distinguersi, grazie agli elevati personaggi, a cui diede i natali. Tra questi, ricordiamo: dott. Alfonso, Regio Notaio, vivente in Napoli, nel 1598; Mattia, Alfiere della Santa Romana Chiesa, sotto i vessilli del Generale Jacopo Boncompagni(Bologna, 8 maggio 1548 - Sora, 18 agosto 1612); Gio.
