De origem espanhola, atribuída à nobreza de Messina em 1798, chamada Voce o Voces, se espalhou por várias cidades do Reino. Entre os personagens conspícuos dessa família, lembramos o médico de direito Bartolomeo Domenico (de Ludovico), que foi juiz da audiência real de Messina no ano de 1801 e foi matriculado no nobre mestre de Messina de 1798-1807. O brasão de armas da família Voces é: Azul rachado e um motivo natural do mar a partir de um terraço do mesmo; no primeiro, a sombra do sol vermelho se pondo no mar, encimada na cabeça por um cometa dourado, balançando no poste; nos segundos dois homens de pele, colocados no terraço, o primeiro com uma saia vermelha, virado e tombado no chão em um ato de gritar, o segundo com uma saia dourada, segurando uma lança de prata, açoitada de preto, no bar machucar o outro.

Spaccato d'azzurro e di un mare al naturale movente da una terrazza dello stesso; nel primo l'ombra di sole di rosso tramontante nel mare, sormontata nel capo da una cometa d'oro, ondeggiante in palo; nel secondo due uomini di carnagione, posti sulla terrazza, il primo al gonnellino di rosso, rivolto e rovesciato a terra in atto vociare, il secondo al gonnellino d'oro, impugnante in isbarra una lancia d'argento, fustata di nero, sul punto di ferir l'altro.
