Alte und edle piemontesische Familie mit dem Titel comital und im Laufe der Zeit in verschiedenen Regionen Italiens verbreitet, wo sie in der Antike auch als Flucht transkribiert wurde. Ein Luigi Voli, Artillerieoffizier, Sohn des Anwalts und Gerichtspräsidenten Stefano und Adele Charrier, für wohltätige Spenden an das Institut für die Töchter des Militärs von Turin, wurde mit RD motu proprio am 24. Dezember 1899 und der anschließenden RR gezählt .LL.PP. 5. Juli 1900. Mit RD 3. Mai 1900 erhielt er die Konzession der Waffe. Er heiratete Luigi (1871) Alix im Ritter Vincenzo Denina und aus dieser Hochzeit wurde geboren: Adele (n. Turin 10. September 1872), die (1898) den Grafen Warmondo Barattieri di S. Pietro, Stefania (n. Turin 17. Juni 1884) heiratete er heiratete (1904) Fernando di Edoardo Scarampi von Villanova; Paola (geb. Turin, 11. Juni 1886), der (1908) den edlen Vittorio dei conti Casana heiratete, und Emilio (geb. Turin, 22. September 1889). Die Familie ist im Goldenen Buch des italienischen Adligen und in der offiziellen italienischen Adligenliste mit dem Titel des Grafen (mpr) in der Person von Emilio, Luigi, di Stafno eingetragen. Schwestern: Adele in Barattieri di S. Pietro, Stefania i Scarampi aus Villanova, Paola, in Casana. Familienmotto: Altius Tendo.
