Familia antigua e ilustre, llamada Zambelli o Zambello, cuyos miembros, procedentes de Lonato, se establecieron en Brescia. Allí ocuparon cargos y obtuvieron la ciudadanía de Brescia, el 2 de mayo de 1722: Benedicto y hermanos, hijos de Andrew q. Giovanni Maria y la noble mujer Giulia Rampinelli. El mencionado Benedetto se casó con Maria Girardi, de quien tuvo, en 1732, Giovani Andrea, quien se casó con Giulia Pescati y engendró a Ottavio, n. 8 de diciembre de 1764. Este último, junto con su hermano, presentó la petición y obtuvo en 1790 para ser adscrito al Consejo General de Brescia; se casó con Marianna Arrigo. Tuvo tres hijos: Pietro, (1799); Angelo, (1798-1879) que engendró a Pietro de su esposa Vittoria Bonetti, quien murió sin descendencia (1845-1915); Giovanni (n. 1805) esposo del nob. Margherita Conter de donde nació Elisabetta (1833-1904). Con la muerte de Elizabeth, esta familia se considera extinta. La familia
