Ordonho, conde de Gaviria, filho natural de um rei de Navarra; 0 qual teve por filho a Galindo Ordonhes, que povoou 0 logar de Zamudio, onde fundou casa que deu appellido a seus descendentes, que tiveram 0 titulo de marquezes de Belvir. Passaram a Portugal e na cidade de Castello-branco se aparentaram com muitas familias, e na Beira baixa. São suas armas: Partido: o primeiro de vermelho, com uma cadeia de ouro posta em cruz, em aspa e em orla; o segundo de prata, com cinco flohas de golfão de verde, postas em sautor, o todo sustido de um mar de prata, aguado de azul. Assim as expõem 0 padre Fr. Thomaz de Ramo, no seu Nobiliario de casas e linhagens de Hespanha, tit. XIII, fl. 38.
