Filippo A. gentilhuomo di virtuose qualità fu congiunto in parentela con la famiglia Altavilla; fù egli Scalco del Rè Pietro ij. sotto il quale visse con molte ricchezze, Luca suo figlio servì come paggio al Rè Federico iij. e poi di Cortegiano al Rè Martino; Mà per haversi casato con la sorella di Ubertino Imperatore fece la sua habitatione nella Città di Palermo, ed ivi fù ascritto fra i nobili di quella; generò egli a Thomaso, il quale da suo Zio Ubertino nel 1399. hebbe donatione di molti beni, ed anche dal medesmo Rè Martino un grosso tenimento di Terri nel territoroioo della Città di Girgenti chiamato di Calatifaldini, e Racalmuni. Questo già detto tenimento di Terri, ò Feudo chiamato anche Calatafudemi Pietra e Ragalmari furono dei Signori Chiaramontani, e per la loro rubbellione il Rè Martino lo concesse prima a Guglielmo Raimondo Moncada, e poi nel 1397. a Thomaso
