Vengono chiamati anche Zanoli, provengono da Milano, dove abitano ancora diverse ramificazioni; si ha memoria di una pergamena del 1458, rogata dal notaio de Zanoli di Lagnago. Probabilmente questa famiglia si stabilì a Venezia all'epoca del suddetto notaio, poiché le prime memorie si hanno in una Oliva, vedova di Antonio, che dispose le sue ultime volontà il 30 aprile 1500. Gli Zanolli erano ricchi mercanti. Possedevano molte case a S. Girolamo, ove esisteva un ponte denominato di cà Zanolli, con lo stemma del loro casato. Avevano molti beni a Mirano e tomba propria alla Madonna dell'Orto. Questo ramo ebbe per capostipite Bartolomeo, uomo energico ed assai avveduto, come si apprende da una lettera che egli diresse a suo figlio Giovanni ad Anversa l'8 dicembre 1589.
