Nel ramo modicano si distinse un Pietro miles nel 1409; in quello catanese un Giovanni capitano nel 1481, un Giambattista giudice del val di Noto 1590, protonotaro e luogoteta, maestro razionale del r. patrimonio 1593, reggente del Supremo Consiglio d'Italia 1597, primo marchese di S. Croce per privilegio di re Filippo III 1600, reggente in Ispagna 1610, ceppo della famiglia Celeste
