Thesoriero degl'introiti regij del Rè Martino, e Proveditore delle fortezze regie; questi per la civil contesa, c'hebbe con Nicolò Saladini, e Pietro Sorguidi gentil'huomini principali, e potenti di quella città, fù costretto venirsene in Sicilia; il cui fratello, chiamato Bertino, per haver successo nella facultà di Guarnuccio Rami, fù forzato aggiungere alla sua famiglia quella di suo zio Guarnuccio per vincolo, cognominandosi I. Rami, la cui famiglia fin adesso nobilmente fiorisce nella medesma città.
