Famiglia spagnola originaria di Madrid un cui ramo si trasferì a Cagliari tra il 1620 e il 1630.Nel 1635 i Zolea ottennero il riconoscimento della nobiltà con un Giacinto,luogotenente del maestro razionale e noto letterato. Nel 1643 i Zolea furono ammessi allo stamento militare durante il parlamento Avellano; negli anni successivi, e per tutto il sec.XVII, mantennero una discreta posizione nella vita di Cagliari. La famiglia si estinse agli inizi del sec.XVIII. Altro ramo.
