Family originating from Locarno, who already resided in Piacenza in the first half of the century. XVI. In an instrument dated 21 June 1543, received by the notary Antonio Riccardi, Giacomo and Francesco set up a trust on their property, called Stradella Vigolzone. A Giorgio made a testament on 27 September 1572. Paolo Corrado with a patent letter dated 18 July 1701 was created noble by Francesco Farnese for himself and his descendants of both sexes. His son Francesco had Giovanni, Don Giuseppe and Benedetto, who in 1798 joined the Royal Council of Piacenza for the settlement of a dispute between them arisen by division of property. Benedetto, who died on 14 February 1807 in Piacenza, continued the descent of the living branch of the family for Antonio (dec. 1835) and Vincenzo (deced 1880). The family is registered in the Official Italian Noble List with the title of noble (mf.).
