I lunghi e zelanti servizi resi da Pietro Turleti fin dal 1774, in vista dei quali Vittorio Amedeo III si degno, con RR.LL.PP 13 dicembre 1703, di conferirgli il grado di commissario di guerra, ed in specie quelli che prestava dal mese di maggio del 1794, in cui era stato incaricato dell'Ufficio del Soldo nel regno di Sardegna, indussero il re Carlo Emanuele IV a concedergli coi diplomi in data 26 agosto 1799, i titoli di cavalierato e di nobiltà, trasmissibili ai suoi figli e discendenti maschi. Il nobile don Pietro T. sposò donna Raffaela Marcello, di Alghero; il loro figlio Giachino, n. Cagliari l'11 gennaio 1811 sposò Rosa Venzano ed ebbero in Genova 15 ottobre 1851 il figlio Giovanni distinto ufficiale generale nel R. esercito. Questi sposò in Genova la nobildonna Teresa Tola. Amat figlia del comm. nob. don Cosimo, dell'illustre giureconsulto e storico di Pasquale
