Passo da Pisa in Sicilia la famiglia ne' tempi che quella Republica fù dell'Intutto oppressa della servitù, e si fermò nella Città di Palermo, e che per le virtuose qulalità d'Alfonso A. con honorato grido crebbe. Questi hebbe per moglie una figlia dii Giliberto Talamanca con la quale generò Carlo, Vicenzo, e Giovanni, che sempre con honorati carichi nella loro patria vissero. Dal Carlo ne nacque Alfonzo che fù Senator di Palermo nel 1547. con Francesco d'Afflitto, Girolamo Scirotta, Luca Cagio, Antonio Geremia, e Pietro di Settimo, e fù uno de' primi Governatori della Tavola di Palermo che s'eresse a 2. di Febraro del 1552. e 1553. e presero possesso gli Governatori a 2. di Maggio di detto anno, i quali furono Don Giovan di Bologna, Alvaro Vernagallo, e Torpe Manzone che per la sua morte fù eletto il predetto Alfonzo A., e fù anche Giurato nel 1560. insieme
