Nobilissimo casato, originario di Guiscriff, in Francia, fregiato dei titoli di conte di Champripault, Penanvern e Coatsal, propagatosi, nel corso dei secoli in diverse regioni d'Europa e d'Italia. Altro ramo. Nobile casato piemontese, originario di Nizza, detto Richieri o Richiero, fregiato dei titoli di signori di Levenzo, Roccasparvera, Todone e di consignori di Eza e Merindol, il quale levò per arme. Di rosso, al castello d'argento murato di nero, di tre torri, quella di mezzo più alta, le laterali sormontate (o cimate) da 2 crescenti riversati. Altro ramo. Nobilissimo casato domiciliato in Pordenone, detto Richieri o Richiero, i cui membri, sin dal 1381, ebbero l'incolato di Treviso e furono, dall'Arciduca Leopoldo d'Austria, dichiarati nobili di quella città. Nel 1469, ottennero, dall'Imperatore Federico III il titolo di Conti del Sacro Romano Impero. Questo titolo venne ai medesimi, ripetutamente, confermato dal Veneto Senato.
