ABELA | ABELE | ABELI | ABELLA | ABELLI | ABELLO

Abela would appear to be Sicilian, with a stock in Syracuse and in the Syracuse area and one in Gela in the Nyssa, Abel, absolutely rare, it would seem Piedmontese, Abeli, equally rare, could be from the Milanese, Abella, extremely rare, should be from Cianciana in the Agrigento, Abelli, very rare, would seem to be from the Parma area, with stocks also in the Pavia area and in the rest of Lombardy, Abello is specific to the Cuneo area, they could derive from modifications of the name Abel. We find traces of this surname in Valtellina where Giovanni Abello is the dean of the magnificent community of Grosio (SO) in the year 1678.
