ACCA

Specific to western Sardinia, it originates from a nickname probably linked to the job of cowherd and derives from the Sassari word acca (cow). additions provided by Giuseppe Concas ACCA: Small-sized horse, nag, brocco. From the Catalan (h) aca (caball petit de estatura); Spanish Haca.
