Hotels has a Genoese stock and one in Faenza in the Ravenna area, Albergo is typically southern, has a stock in Naples, one in Venosa in the Potentino and in Tursi in the Matera area, one consisting in the Bari area, in Bari, Altamura, Modugno, Valenzano and Bitonto, and one in Sicily in Catania and Vizzini in the Catania area, should derive from the Lombard name Aliberg, originating from the union of the terms ali (different, other) and from berg (mountain), but it cannot be excluded that it may also be an alteration of the Germanic name Albericus (see ALBERICI).
