ALBRICCI

Very rare it seems to be typical of the Bergamo area, it derives from the medieval name Alberigus modified in Albritius, an example of this surname we find in Val di Scalve since 1200 among the noble families of considerable importance for the politics of the valley, we have for example Alessio Albricci Consul of the valley in 1484 and in 1488; the Albricci family extended its renown up to the Verona area, in San Bonifacio (VR) we find in the 1400s an Albricci family who left the Church of Misericordia a fair sum for the maintenance of the Altar of St. Francis, based on the will of Aurelio Albricci of 9 February 1441.
