ALDERISI | ALDERISIO

Absolutely very rare, probably from the centrosud, it derives from the Longobard name Alderisius, name of which we have traces for example in Solofra (AV) in 1000 in one act we read: "... Vicesimo fifth fifth principatus salerni domni nostra guaimarii .... .. Ego Alderissi notarius me subscripsi. ". additions provided by Fabio Paolucci The surname Alderisio is documented in Colle Sannita (BN) since the 1500s as a surname of a very distinct family: the first public notary of Colle was in fact the nobilis homo Antonio Alderisio, who practiced his profession from 1610 to 1613. (The Alderisio are mentioned among the other powerful families of the place by Meomartini in his work The municipalities of the province of Benevento, 1907, page 401).
