Alonsi, Alonso and D'Alonso, are forms corrupted by a substitution of them for the original zeta, Alonzi is typical of Sora nel frusinate, and of the nearby provinces of L'Aquila and Rome, Alonzo has a stock in Teramo, in the Roman region, in Campania and in the Catania area, D'Alonzo is typically Abruzzese with a stock also in the Caserta area and one in the Bari area, they should all be of Spanish origin and derive either from the Spanish name Alonzo (altered form of Alfonso) or from the Spanish surname Alonso.
