ANGLESIO

Typical of Turin and in particular of Rocca Canavese, it is very rare, it should derive from the name Anglesius derived from the ethnic englesius or anglesius (English), a use that we find for example in Genoa in 1200 with the paper manufacturer Gualterius Englesius, name carried by the bishop of Novara (1287 - 1291) the Englesio Cavallazzi from Novara and in 1400 from Anglesia Visconti.
