BRODA | BRODI | BRODO

Extremely rare, Broda and Brodo would appear to be Neapolitan, Brodi, always very rare, should be Perugian, they should derive from a nickname. We find traces of this surname in Meleti (LO) in the Diplomatic Code of medieval Lombardy in the year 1146: "... Ibi fuerunt Crispo de Mola and Ugo Broda seu Petri Ungaronis, testes." and in 1260 in Mairano (LO): "... usque ad viginti novem annos proximos completos Martino Brode et on heredibus omnia novaria que modo sunt vel a modo aparissent on site and territory of Villa Rubra and in the territory and territory of Mayrano .. .
