Bruti in addition to the Roman stock has one between Orvieto (TR) and Bolsena (VT), Brutus, absolutely rare, has a single strain in Manduria (TA) although sporadically present in Campania and Lazio, Brutti has a stock of Verona Verona, Isola della Scala and Zevio and Mantua to Goito and Porto Mantovano, one in Ancona at Falconara Marittima, Ancona and Jesi, and one very important in Rome, Brutto has a Venetian lineage in Verona and Noventa Vicentina (VI) and one Calabrese in Catanzaro and province, they should all derive from the Latin praenomen Brutus, but a connection with the Gens Bruttia is also possible.
