Camagna seems to be a piemontese, Camagni does not have a sleeve in Milan and one in it forlivese, dovrebbero derive from the characteristic localities of the presence of a large house (magna), traces of these cognomenations we find in a Cartulina venditionis from 1183 to Sartirana (PV): "... Anno dominate the incarnation of the millennium hundredth and eighteenth, the fifth day of the month, the first indiction. Nicolaus Camagna filius Lafranci, vivens lege Lombarda, consensus eiusdem genius sui venditit Petro de Rizolo et fratris suis germanis, filial quondam Viviani, peam unam terre ... ".
