FAETA | FAETI | FAIETA | FAIETI | FAJETI

Faeta, almost unique, is from the Neapolitan area, Faeti has a Romagnolo lineage in Cesena and Mercato Saraceno in the Cesena area, and one in Pomezia in the Roman area, Faieta is typically Abruzzese, from Pescara, Pescara, Pianella, Moscufo, Montesilvano, Cappelle sul Tavo and Spoltore, and of the Theatine, of Chieti, of San Giovanni Teatino and of Casoli, Faieti is practically unique, it should be due to a wrong transcription of the surname Fajeti, which is specific to Reggio Emilia, all these surnames should derive from archaic names of localities that owed their name to the presence of a beech forest, as, for example only, the Contrada Fajeta, later called Faeta, located in the municipality of Conca della Campania in the Caserta area.
