FOGAZZARO | FUGAZZARO

Fogazzaro, absolutely rare, would seem to be from northern Italy, Fugazzaro has a Venetian stock, a Tarantino and an Emilian one. additions provided by Stefano Ferrazzi Fogazzaro, almost unique, is found mostly in the Lombard-Veneto, between the Milanese and the Vicenza area, Fugazzaro, quite rare, has major stocks in the Venetian, the Taranto and Modena areas, both of these surnames derive from variants archaic or dialectal of the term focacciaio. Famous character was the Venetian novelist and poet Antonio Fogazzaro (born in Vicenza in 1842 and died there in 1911), author of the famous novel Piccolo mondo antico. Regarding the surnames Fogazzaro and Fugazzaro, it is still the surnames of trade names attributed to the founders.
