LALA

Lala, has a stump Lecce and Bari, a small one in Naples and Procida, and in Sicily instead it is well present in the Palermo area at Contessa Entellina, Mezzojuso and Palermo and in the Agrigento area at Porto Empedocle and Raffadali, it should derive from the Turkish name Lale in Italian Lala, of this use we have an example in The Doge Leonardo Donà (year 1596) of Federico Seneca: "... The Sultana his mother is in the age of fifty or so, and is a woman, as they say, of a very soul highland and much respected child, so that she may wish that the greatest authority she can, and it can only be said that she has parried the ear of her son to all hore, it is judged that the intercession and his opinions habbino with him much vigor, but with all this, from the elector, which the Great Lord made suddenly of Lala first Visir without any participation of his own, indeed with his non-pity disgust, and from the death that was given to Ferrat Bassà by her very favorite , we understand not e to hold her authority over that supreme force after the Lord who is so preachingly preached ....
