LIBERALATO | LIBRALATO

Both decidedly Venetian, Liberalato has a stock in Venice and one in Travisano, in particular in Castelfranco Veneto, Libralato, more widespread, has a stock in the Paduan area in Trebaseleghe and Piombino Dese and one in Trevisano in Vedelago, Quinto di Treviso, Resana and Castelfranco Veneto, it should be patronymic forms in -ato, typically Venetian, where the suffix stands for son of, referring to fathers of the founders named Liberal (see LIBERAL).
