Liprandi, very rare, is typically Piedmontese, from Cuneo in particular, from Cuneo, Frabosa Soprana, Mondovì and Priola, it should derive from the apheretic form of the Germanic medieval name Aliprandus, a corrupt form of the more common Alibrandus (see ALIPRANDI).
