The first and the last are both decidedly Lombard and derive from the toponyms Locate Bergamasco in Bergamo, Locate Triulzi in the Milanese, Locate Varesino in the Como area and Locatello also in the Bergamo area, Locatello is instead specific to Puos d'Alpago in the Belluno area, to Venice and of Verona. additions provided by Sergio Fantini The Locatellis of Bergamo take the name of the town Locatello in Valli Imagna, in 1500 1600 when they moved to another country they were called De Locatellis.
