LOSANO

Losano is a typical surname of Turin, Turin, Pinerolo and Roletto, it could derive from a modification of the Roman name Lusianus, attributed to freedmen of the Gens Lusia, of which we have ancient traces in Vercelli, for example, in the ancient church of S. Agnes in Vercelli, now destroyed, a Roman sarcophagus was preserved where it was possible to read: "" Lusiae Valentinae honestissimae pudicissimae C.Arbussonius Candidus spouses ".
