PUDDINA | PUDDINU

Puddina is now practically almost disappeared, but Puddinu is typical of Ozieri in Sassarese, but is present throughout the province and also in Cagliari. Integration provided by Giuseppe Concas PUDDINA/U: Gallinella. Puddinu in Sassari dialect is synonymous of home, the male (husband) who is always in the house., even in the kitchen, like the hens in the STA. Among the signatories of the Peace of Eleanor of 1388 we find: Puddina Philipo, ville Mahara (modern Villamar). Puddinu is currently present in 14 municipalities of Sardinia.
