SBARDELLA | SBARDELLATI

Sbardella is Latium, Sbardellati has a strain in Brescia and perhaps another nucleus in Tuscany, of the Brescian strain we find traces already in 1562, when Damianus Turlinus writes "Orationes Dua in sacrosancto oecumenical Council Tridentine Habitae a R. P. Andrea Duditio Disembared, Episcopo Tininien. ". These surnames should derive from the word sbardellare (be discombined) which are also traces in Morgante in the year 1481.
