VENIN | VENINI | VENINO

Venin, almost unique, it should be Veneto, Venini is decidedly Lombard, the Como area of Lecco and Mandello del Lario (LC) and Griante (CO) and Menaggio (CO) in particular, with significant presences also in Milan and in Milan where it is specific the much rarer Venino, in particular in Brugherio, should all derive from modifications for the betacismo of hypochoristic of the medieval name well (see WELL). Traces of these cognitive findings we find for example already towards the end of 1600 in Dervio (LC), in a census of 1738 is quoted the Ultrasessantenne Paol'Antonio Venini Q. M Bartolomeo.
