VOLI | VOLIO | VOLLI

Volli and Volio are almost unique, flights, always very rare, it would seem to be Campania and of the Roman, these surnames should all derive from apheretic forms of names like Avolius (see Avoglio), name probably brought by the ancestor, or directly from the name. Personal Latin Vollius, of which we have an example in this Latin script of the XVII th century: ".. Idem observatum in Sacris matris phrygiae seu cybeles seu Rheae, in deceased Sacerdotibus ac famulis novem ista praecipue spectata olim Fuisse, Anotavit Vollius, Evirationem, Furorem, Vestem Versicolorem, capitis iactationem, Capillorum inunctionem, Mollitiem Incessus, Lacertorum sectionem... ".
