Count Agostino, second son of Count Ilarione, had the inheritance of the surname Bagliani from Count Carlo Nicolò, of Gio. Angelo Inviziati. The aforementioned count Carlo Nicolò Inviziati, who was the son of Vittoria Bagliani, had in turn inherited it from his uncle Giovanni Raimondo Bagliani, and having no descendants, he disposed of it as a testament in favor of his cousin Agostino. He was an artillery officer, chief of staff in Crimea, lieutenant general (1860), deputy to the national parliament in the 4-5-6-7-8-9 legislatures and twice minister of war. He had the recognition of the title with the DM of February 5, 1876. He married (1860) Margherita Bellotti and from this wedding Teresa, wife of the lawyer and member of parliament Emilio Campi, and Vittoria Emanuele, wife of the noble Filippo Parravicini were born. The presence of the motto in the documented bibliography of the family confirms the ancestral nobility of the family.
