Corona de la nobleza Liesenberg Ancient and noble German family, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread over the centuries. According to what has been handed down, this family, as a reward for valuable services rendered to Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor, was admitted to the "Briefadel" (lit. "letter of nobility"), the so-called new nobility as opposed to "Uradel", a term coined only in modern times, in reference to noble families whose ancestral lineage can be traced back to before the Middle Ages. It is also of the same agnation of the noble Dutch family van Liesbergen, since they share the same blazon. Anyway, this family, in all ages, always stood out, thanks to the prominent figures, which gave birth, in the public service, in the liberal professions and in the military service. Among these, without undervalue the omitted, we would like to mention: Hans, landowner in Baden-Württemberg, flourishing in 1552; Egelhoff, notary,... Continuaráflourishing in Stuttgart, in 1564; Gerard, captain of arms, flourishing in 1601; Friedrich, landowner in Holland, flourishing in 1616; Herman, jurist, flourishing in Stuttgart, in 1652; Franz, landowner in Baden-Württemberg, flourishing in 1666; Heinrich, military doctor, flourishing in 1661; Gerard, knight under the banners of Charles VI; Otto, jurist in Stuttgart, flourishing in 1715; Gottlieb, jurist, flourishing in Tübingen, in 1743; Albriecht, councillor in Stuttgart, flourishing in the eighteenth century; Franz Otto, landowner in Baden-Württemberg, flourishing in 1771; Ludwig, general of cavalry, flourishing in 1786. Family names so old, without any doubt, honour not only the families but also the cities that welcomed them; seems to be, in fact, very worthy living members of this family which, with much decorum, carry this noble surname, which has had several illustrious persons.
