Antigua y muy noble familia del Reino de Nápoles, conocida como Andreazzi o Andreassi, de clara y ancestral virtud, difundida a lo largo de los siglos en diversas regiones de Italia y del mundo. Originaria de Calabria, más precisamente de Oriolo (CS), esta familia se ha distinguido en el poder judicial desde el siglo XVII. El 10 de agosto de 1724 se le concedió el título de duque de Montemurro mientras que el 6 de octubre de 1752 recibió el título de marqués sobre el apellido. En 1795 la familia también se agregó al patriciado de Benevento; ya desde 1695 se agregó en cambio a la de Lucera. Por decreto ministerial del 20 de julio de 1913, la familia fue inscrita en las listas oficiales con los títulos de Marqués (mpr.) y Nobile dei Marquis Andreassi (mf). Está inscrito en la Lista Oficial de Nobles Italianos en los años 1922,
